Perched on a sloping site in Beit Mery, this villa is designed to work with the natural topography rather than against it. The lower levels are embedded into the hillside with stone-clad retaining walls, while upper volumes cantilever outward, capturing sweeping views of the Beirut coastline and surrounding mountains.
The design philosophy embraces the tension between solid and void — heavy stone bases anchor the building to its site, while lightweight steel and glass volumes appear to float above. Large sliding doors blur the boundary between interior and exterior, creating living spaces that extend onto terraces and garden decks.
Sustainable strategies include passive solar orientation, natural cross-ventilation, and rainwater collection for landscape irrigation.
Every project starts with a qualification process. Let's discuss scope, feasibility, and next steps.
